You’re on this web page now because there may be a project or program your group would like to undertake but perhaps can’t afford right now. Or, there could be a piece of equipment your group would love to purchase, but it’s beyond your budget. Maybe there’s a lecture series you wish to present, but the costs are prohibitive. Or, you may be facing other situations where support would be helpful to continue the services you deliver to your Oakmont neighbors.

The Oakmont Community Foundation is here to help by providing support for groups or individuals who have ideas for educational and charitable projects and/or events that benefit the residents of Oakmont. The Foundation Board recently expanded the qualifications for grant eligibility. A successful proposal no longer has to be submitted by a club or OVA-approved group. Individuals in Oakmont are encouraged to also create events and projects that meet OCF guidelines. And we encourage collaborations within Oakmont.
To qualify for a grant, your project or idea must be charitable or educational and be available or beneficial for all of Oakmont.
OCF is unable to fund projects that are the responsibility of OVA, such as facilities or OVA programs.
The OCF Board of Directors meets every other month to review requests for funding.
We may be able to help bring your ideas to reality, but we need to know who you are and what you want to do! For a grant request to be considered, the OCF Board of Directors requires specific information from a requesting group, such as your timeline, budget and how you would determine success. The Grant Request Application (GRA) provides the requestor the opportunity to provide all the needed details.
If you need help, please reach out to us. Download and fill out the form on this page to get started. You may also pick up an application in the OVA office. Ask for the OCF folder. Reach out to us with questions: [email protected].
